Probably, the name Nagaland is derived from two ways- Firstly, the 2000 Km high Naga hill raised from the Brahmaputra Valley in Assam which is merged in the Patkoi range. Secondly, The tribal group named Naga from Burma (Present Myanmar) is still living here.
